Ordering

Yes, all our items are shipped directly from our own stock. Orders placed before 4:00 PM on a business day are shipped within 24 hours. We’ll then ship your order the same day via PostNL.

Did you make an address error with your order? Please contact us as soon as possible. We usually cannot change the shipping address after you place your order, as processing begins immediately.

As soon as you place an order, it is immediately processed and prepared for shipment via an automated system. Cancellation is therefore no longer possible.

You will automatically receive an invoice by email as soon as your order has been shipped.

Delivery via PostNL

How quickly will my order be shipped?

Order before 4:00 PM, and we will ship your order the same day on weekdays.

  • Netherlands: 1-2 business days
  • International: 3-10 business days

PostNL does not always deliver envelopes within 24 hours. We cannot track shipments without a tracking code. Delivery services use a last in, first out principle, which can sometimes cause delivery to take longer than expected. If you order from outside the EU, customs may temporarily hold your package. We have no influence on this.

Shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the weight and volume of your order. We ship within the Netherlands from €2.50, and internationally from €3. This keeps our product prices as competitive as possible.

Parcels with a tracking code can be tracked via the websites of PostNL or DHL. If you choose an envelope without a tracking code for accessories, your order will be shipped with stamps. Want certainty? Always choose a tracking code.

You will automatically receive your tracking code by email as soon as the delivery service has processed your package. Did you choose a shipment without a tracking code? Then we cannot track your order.

Most envelope shipments are delivered by PostNL within one to two business days, but in some cases it can take longer. Because PostNL uses the first in, first out principle, shipments sent later can sometimes arrive earlier than earlier ones.

If you opted for an envelope without a tracking code, we cannot track the shipment and will only be able to take further action after 2 weeks (NL) or 4 weeks (international). We do everything we can to ensure your order actually arrives.

PostNL deliverers of letterbox parcels do not have a scanner, so the tracking status is updated as an estimate. This means a parcel can be marked as ‘delivered’ while it is still in transit. Your shipment will likely arrive later today or tomorrow. If not, check your address in your order and see if it has been delivered to your neighbors.

If you order from the Netherlands or within the EU, you will not pay any customs fees. For orders from countries outside the EU, additional charges may be levied by customs. Check the import regulations for your country.

Shopping in Apeldoorn

Yes, Veter has a store in Apeldoorn, but it operates differently than a traditional store.
The laces are sorted into bins by color, size, and type in our warehouse. You can tell us which lace you’re looking for, and we’ll pack it for you.

For custom laces, we do recommend making an appointment in advance, as they need to be dyed beforehand. Custom laces can also be ordered online through our website.

Yes, all laces are delivered as a complete set of 2, enough for one pair of sneakers. This way, you always have exactly what you need to personalize your sneakers right away.

Services

Absolutely. On the laces page, you can select this option if it’s available. We can customize laces in any solid color. Thanks to at least three layers of coating, they retain their quality, but this extends the drying process by a few hours.

Absolutely. You’ll find us every year at Sneakerness Amsterdam and Rotterdam. With the largest booth at the event, you’ve come to the right place. We also regularly visit Crepe City Amsterdam.

Returns and exchanges

Not all items can be returned. Custom tips are excluded from returns. This is stated in advance on the product page. If, in exceptional circumstances, your order is not to your liking, we will be happy to find a suitable solution. Please contact us, and we will help you further. Do you want to return laces? You can return your product within 14 days of receipt, provided it is unused and in its original packaging.

You can return a product via our returns page. Register your return, stating the product, your order number, and the reason. Exchanges are also possible! You will receive instructions and the return address within one business day. Please ship the item well-packaged within 14 days and preferably use a tracking code. Once your return has been received in good condition, we will usually process it within two business days. Refunds will be processed within 14 days at the latest. Laces that have been marked as non-returnable in advance cannot be returned.

You can exchange a product via our returns page. Register your return by stating the product, your order number, and the new items you would like to replace. You will receive instructions and the return address within one business day. Please ship the item well-packaged within 14 days and preferably use a tracking code. Once your return has been received in good condition, we will usually ship your new products the same business day. Laces that have been marked as non-returnable in advance cannot be returned.

After receipt and inspection of your return, the amount will be refunded to the account used to pay for the order within 14 days at the latest. You will receive a confirmation email.

Warranty

Yes, we offer a warranty on laces. We assume this rarely happens, but if something breaks sooner than expected, we will provide a suitable solution. Did you receive a defective accessory? Please let us know within 48 hours of receipt and we will help you immediately.
